Meet Coffee Farmers Gary & Valerie

In 2005, Gary and Valerie thought the family needed a change of pace and decided Gary should step away from the video game development industry to explore new adventures. Along with their two young daughters, they swapped sunny California for a tropical Big Island Hawaii coffee farm in Kona. Through many years of trial and error, Gary and Valerie have become seasoned coffee farmers. They now expertly navigate numerous farming variables throughout the year to present a silky smooth offering worthy of the world-renowned Kona Coffee namesake. 

The famous Kona Coffee district is located on the western side of the dormant Hualalai volcano on the Big Island of Hawaii. Warm sunny days and generous afternoon rain create the perfect climate for growing some of the best coffee in the world…and, if you ask Gary and Valerie, also the perfect climate for raising two daughters, who are now in college exploring new adventures of their own.
